Prepare Wind Element DPS Weapons

The Evil Sorcerer applies Elemental Resistance UP buffs excluding Wind Resistance to all units. Attacks using elements other than Wind will deal 3/4ths of their damage.

DPS roles should prepare Wind element DPS weapons. Guardians, if you have the Hate increase effect extending + Wind element DPS weapon Jadeite Guard, be sure to equip it.

Deal with "It's roaring!" From the Back Row

Rikelnok's "It's roaring!" attack deals extreme damage to a single unit. If you're hit by it in the front row, you'll also get hit by a Physical/Magic Damage Taken UP debuff.

Rikelnok also has a Physical Damage Dealt UP buff, and the damage from "It's roaring!" after the buff is huge, so get hit in the back row if you won't be able to withstand it.

Manage both Physical/Magic Attacks

Rikelnok uses both physical and magic attacks. Prepare both Physical Damage Taken DOWN and Magic Damage Taken DOWN.

Playstyle for Each Job

Swordsman Playstyle

Swordsmen should deal damage with Magic Twin Blades while avoiding Rikelnok's attacks. Jadeite and Clima Twin Blades will do major damage, but the Flor Saber is a good alternative and it provides Earth Resistance. Make sure to go back on near-unit and all-unit attacks, especially after “It’s building momentum!”’s 150% damage buff is applied.

Mage Playstyle

Mages should be careful not to accumulate Hate at the start of the battle, as Rikelnok's single-unit attacks are powerful. The mob enemies will apply Resistance UP for elements excluding Wind to the boss, so we recommend Wind Element DPS weapons.

Guardian Playstyle

Guardians should fight in the front row while accumulating Hate. Rikelnok has both Physical and Magical area attacks, so it helps to apply all-unit DEF buffs with shields such as the Mitra Knight’s Spada, Folia, or the Blue Comet Shield if you have it. Consider Trane for the all-unit magic attacks if your team is struggling.

Cleric Playstyle

Clerics should recover the party's HP, focusing on Guardians taking the Hate, as Rikelnok's single-unit attacks are powerful.

Archer Playstyle

Archers will use ATK buffs/DEF debuffs/elemental debuffs and raise the party's DPS. Consider the Jadeite Arrow to lower the boss’s Wind Resistance. You can also bring Adamante Twin Blades to lower the boss’s Physical and Magical Damage.

Rikelnok Basic Info

This is an Earth element boss, so deal damage efficiently using Wind element attacks.

There are two treasure chest drops for Lv. 3 and 4. Since Souls drop easily, use them to limit break your equipment.

You can obtain the Rikelnok Series from completion rewards and drop rewards. The head accessory and armor have Physical ATK UP (Massive), so we recommend them for Swordsmen and Archers.
