Tips

Defeat Mariflies First

Mariflies use debuffs that lower your physical and magical damage dealt and use recovery skills, so take them out first.

Quickly take out the Mariflies with the Mage's all-unit magic and Swordsman's area attacks, before finally concentrating on the Furnav Moth.

How to Deal With Poison Scales "Ssss..."

Do NOT Move If Hit By "Ssss..."

If you make a move in the nearby row when Furnav Moth casts "Ssss...," it will apply deadly poison that will instantly kill you, so if you get hit, wait without doing anything.

Fortunately, the effect disappears momentarily (1-2 seconds) after, so you don't need to use poison recovery.

One Poison Removal Equipment/Multiple Revival Equipment

Clerics should use all-unit poison recovery to coincide with the activation of "Ssss..." (note that it has a long cast). It reduces the wait time of the other players even if just a little bit, making it easier to complete the quest.

The deadly poison the Furnav Moth uses will insta-kill when an affected player moves, so be sure to ready revival weapons as well.

The Enemy Uses Both Physical & Magic Attacks

As the Furnav Moth uses both physical and magic attacks, Guardians should prepare to counter both. Other jobs should raise Wind resistance.

Playstyle for Each Job

Swordsman Playstyle

The Swordsman will play the role of attacker, so deal damage efficiently using the Magic Twin Blades combo or a Dragonkin Greatsword combo. The Furnav Moth has many nearby row attacks including a deadly poison attack, so be sure to equip lots of weapons that will move you to the back row. Consider the Ember Sword to sustain 30% Wind Resistance.

Mage Playstyle

The Mage will take on an attacker/debuff role, so apply debuffs and deal damage efficiently by building up your Dragonkin Gauge quickly. The Furnav Moth has many nearby row attacks including a deadly poison attack, so be sure to equip lots of weapons that will move you to the back row. Get accustomed to the longer poison channel time so you don’t get caught off guard and eat an attack in the front.

Guardian Playstyle

The Guardian will serve as the tank, so apply DEF buffs to all allies as you manage enemy Hate. Use Spear debuff attacks when there's an opening and quickly defeat the boss. Make sure to keep AOE aggro so the Mariflies don’t debuff the DPS. This fight is a mix of damage types so bring Folia and Mitra or Blue Comet if you can.

Cleric Playstyle

The Cleric takes on the healer role, so manage the HP of all allies, focusing on the tank/Guardian. The Furnav Moth uses a deadly poison attack, so it helps to equip poison removal weapons. Watch out for the Swordsman that will attack with poison on them, or leave them on the floor. Your choice.

Archer Playstyle

Archers will take on a buff/debuff support role, so keep your DPS buffs and DEF/elemental debuffs active. Watch out for the poison with Dragonic Folia, but consider bringing Phantom Skull to help DPS caught out of position by the No Dialogue near-attack.

Additionally, the drop rate for Furnav Moth's Soul is low, and you'll need 40 of them to limit break both the upper and lower equipment.
