Tips

Defeat Him Using Dragonkin Attacks

When Ines' HP gets low, he will use the "The true Dragonkin is I" cast to apply a 999% Evasion UP to himself, so only Dragonkin attacks will land.

Save your Dragonkin Gauge for the late-stage attack.

Use Magic Twin Blades Against Guts

Ines applies Guts to himself, so Magic Twin Blades are effective for finishing him off. Swordsmen and Archers should equip Magic Twin Blades.

Raise Your Dark Resistance

Raise Your Dark Resistance

Ines applies Physical Damage Taken DOWN to all-units and Dark Resistance DOWN to the front row, so you will be taking a lot of damage. Raise your Dark Resistance with your armor/accessory equipment for the fight.

Use lots of Light element equipment, Ines' weakness, for your weapon sets, and raise the power of your Command Skills.

Playstyle for Each Job

Swordsman Playstyle

When Ines' HP gets low, he will use the "The true Dragonkin is I" cast to apply a 999% Evasion UP to himself, so only Dragonkin attacks will land.

Save your Dragonkin Gauge for the late-stage attack. Because the enemy uses Guts, equip Magic Twin Blades.

Mage Playstyle

Mages should be evasive while providing DPS. Mages have a higher Dragonkin evasion rate than other jobs, so use it as much as you can in the first half.

Guardian Playstyle

Guardians will manage Hate/buffs as always, minimizing damage to the party and themselves.

Cleric Playstyle

In the Ines fight, you'll be hit by Evasion DOWN debuffs, so equip something with Evasion UP..

Additionally, you can increase HP recovery through element dyeing, so try to equip as many weapons with the same element as possible to enable stable HP management.

Archer Playstyle

Archers will use ATK buffs/DEF debuffs/Elemental debuffs and raise the party's DPS.

Equipment Magic Twin Blades and use Dragonkin to whittle away the final count of Guts.

Ines Basic Info

This is a Dark element boss, so deal damage efficiently using Light element attacks.
