Tips

Use Multi-Hit Weapons to Wear Down Guts

When the battle begins, Xenon will apply 14x Guts to himself, so you'll need to be cautious. Once you've worn down his HP, Swordsmen and Archers should whittle away at them using Magic Twin Blades.

He will recover HP using Demon Blade Training, so you'll need to be careful about when you use Magic Twin Blades. Jobs aside from the Swordsman and Archer should equip one multi-hit weapon.

Beware of Attacks After the Physical Damage Dealt UP Buff

Xenon will activate Physical Damage Dealt UP buffs with "Now it's on!" and "Not bad" once his HP reaches a certain level.

Beware Approaching 60K HP

When Xenon is below 60k HP, he will do multiple Extreme “No Dialogue” attacks that will heal him for 30K each. Once this happens, damage dealers should stop attacking and let him heal above 60K, otherwise the tank may go down from the consecutive attacks.

When Xenon is approaching the 60K HP range, either the Swordsman or Mage should Dragonkin burst him down to 1HP, with everyone following up immediately with their multi-hit weapons to shred Guts.

Playstyle for Each Job

Swordsman Playstyle

Swordsmen should avoid dangerous attacks using weapons that move them to the rear while dealing damage using the Magic Twin Blades combo. Birka Kukri is a powerful Twin Blades option here as it reduces the boss’s Water Resistance, and Blue Comet or Träne are powerful weapons to Dragonkin.

When chipping away at his Guts, use the Magic Twin Blades' multi-hit attacks while staying wary of the enemy's attacks.

Mage Playstyle

Mages should be sure not to get hit by the enemy's all-unit and row attacks in the front row. Being careful not to accumulate too much Hate in the beginning, use the Scythe combo to deal damage to the enemy.

We also recommend equipping Scythes and Magic Cannons capable of multi-hit attacks for wearing down Guts.

Guardian Playstyle

The Guardian should protect allies with buffs and by managing Hate. Once your buffs and Hate have stabilized, get ready to deal damage to the boss with a debuff weapon. This fight is all Physical Damage, so bring the Mitra Knight’s Spada to reduce Xenon’s damage.

Draak can be helpful to reduce some damage as Xenon does powerful near- and all-unit attacks. When Xenon falls below 60K HP, you may need to fall back or use Birka/Hymn Score to reduce the incoming onslaught of attacks.

Cleric Playstyle

Xenon's attacks after his Physical Damage Dealt UP are powerful, so keep an eye on your whole party's HP while focusing heals on the Guardian. When the boss drops below 60K HP, prepare strong single-target heals for the Guardian and Dragonkin if needed.

Archer Playstyle

The Archer will improve allied DPS using buff/debuffs. The boss is all Physical Damage, so consider the Phantom Skull to reduce Xenon’s damage.

We recommend equipping Magic Twin Blades to wear down Guts.

Xenon Basic Info

He is a Fire element boss, so use Water element equipment.

Completion Rewards

Lord Set

The Noble Cloak's passive skill is Physical DEF (Massive), so Guardians will absolutely want to get it.

Get Mad Warrior's Soul Limit Break Material

The Mad Warrior's Soul is limit break material for the Noble Cloak+. It only drops at difficult Lv. EX, so be sure to proactively complete Lv. EX if you are limit breaking +Equipment. You'll need 20 Mad Warrior's Souls to fully limit break it.

Additionally, the drop rate for Mad Warrior's Soul will be doubled during the event, so this is a great chance to limit break it.
