Tips
Counter "Submit to destiny"
Zarich's "Submit to destiny" dialogue deals proportional damage to all units, so your HP gauge will be depleted regardless of your stats. Clerics should prepare all-unit recovery.
You can reduce the proportional damage by increasing your Wind Resistance. Raise your Wind Resistance so you don't get taken out by the follow-up after being hit by the proportional damage attack.
Beware of the "Can You Dodge This?" Debuff
Zarich's "Can you dodge this?" dialogue applies a Physical/Magic Damage Dealt DOWN to the front row, so attacker jobs should move to the rear.
Additionally, there will be an HP Recovery 50% debuff on all units, so it helps if Clerics use their all-unit recovery in advance.
After being hit by the HP debuff, use the Crystal Mace or similar to counter it with an Ally HP Recovery UP buff.
Beware of the Poison From "Running Is Futile"
Bring Poison Removal Equipment

Zarich's "Running is futile" cast applies poison that hurts for 8% of your HP, so prioritize removing it.
We recommend the Luna Catcher for jobs other than Cleric, but if you don't have it, use the Calm Klingel to prepare a way to heal your own poison.
We recommend the Folia Poer for Clerics. It recovers poison for all allied units while also having HP Recovery (Medium), so it's very reliable.
Don't Remove Poison With "Submit to destiny"
Zarich's "Submit to destiny" cast applies poison that only hurts for 1% of your HP, so stick it out and use poison removal for "Running is futile."
Playstyle for Each Job
Swordsman Playstyle
The Swordsman is in charge of whittling down the boss. You'll want to increase your DPS as much as possible, so match the elements of your equipment. You’ll want to kill Zarich before she has the chance to cast “Can you dodge this?” because at that point, the fight gets much more difficult.
Until your Dragonkin Gauge is charged, apply Magic Damage Dealt UP using the Adamante Buster and Evil Eye of Death before attacking with Magic Twin Blades.
Mage Playstyle
The Mage is in charge of whittling down the boss. You'll want to increase your DPS as much as possible, so match the elements of your equipment. Aim to kill Zarich before she has the chance to cast “Can you dodge this?” because at that point, the fight gets much more difficult.
Look to constantly dish out your strongest single-target rotations. Stardust Dice, Scythes, and the Belial Staff will enhance any Mage’s rotation.
Guardian Playstyle
Guardians should apply a Hate multiplier with the Bronze, then after self-buffing their DEF with Steel and buffing the party's DEF with the Blue Comet or Folia, sustain Hate from the boss.
Manage Hate while remaining vigilant to not let your all-unit buffs expire. Bring Stone Shield to sustain your buffs indefinitely..
Cleric Playstyle
The Cleric will stabilize the party's HP using recovery. The battle will be much smoother if you remove Zarich’s poison after “Running is futile.” Once Zarich casts “Can you dodge this,” the fight will increase in difficulty due to the 50% HP Recovery DOWN, especially if you don’t have poison cleanse.
Archer Playstyle
Archers should use buffs and debuffs as they increase the overall DPS of the party. Zarich’s most powerful attack is Magical, so bring Crystal Sphere to reduce her damage.
We recommend Dragonkin the "Insect Dragon Smokebomb."
